FMS197 Fresh Sketched card! Fun Stampers Journey!

Good morning,

I whipped up an uber cute card using a Freshly Made Sketches,” sketch. FMS197

Quote from FMS: “Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try, the twist is to keep your project clean-lined and fresh!”

So the key word her is clean-lined, your card is to look fresh and simple but with pizzazz. I will tell you that is sorta hard for me. I am not into several layers of lace and flowers, even though I love looking at those types of cards. But to create a simple but not simple card is a challenge indeed. So I challenged myself and here is what I came up with.

The sketch:

My card:

I just love this sentiment!

The name of this stamp set is “Bloom with Heart.” I got this stamp set for free at the Scrapbook EXPO, from the Fun Stampers Journey’s booth. They currently doing free make and takes at all of the EXPOs. I had the privilege of working the show when they came to Orlando Florida in March 2015.

I stamped the back ground flower stamp using Fun Stampers Journey’s True Color Fusion ink called “Banana Cream” item # IP-0046. On top of that I stamped the sentiment with “Tangerine Fusion.” item # IP-0005.

The card base is “Tangerine Fusion” item #CS-0036 cardstock. The printed paper is called “Journey Basics Brights” 12×12 Paper Pack item # PP-0014. The banner is the back side of the flower print.

For the square I used the die from Fun Stampers Journey that comes with piercing dies called “Journey Squares” item# DI-0038.

And if your going to mail a card this type is the best, there isn’t anything to get caught on the Post Office’s machine.

Thank you for stopping by and Thank you for your comments. Stay Crafty my Friends!

I would like to enter my card into Freshly Made Sketches, challenge FMS197. (Follow Link to challenge blog.)
