Now it’s time for mine, I have created a card:

For this card I used all 3 mermaids in the set. I have colored them with the Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils  item# JM-0078. The watercolor pencils do come with a brush, however, I prefer to use the Journey Blending Brush- small item# TO-0097 (The Blending brush also come in med and large.)

The images and the sentiment were both stamped onto Butter Cream Cardstock item# CS-0006,  using Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad item# IP-0041.

For the Sentiment, after stamping it I then cut it out using the FSJ dies called Journey Ovals Die Set item# DI-0042. I then applied some Cool Pool ink item# IP-0074, onto my craft mat and then smushed my sentiment in the ink.

The background was created using the background stamp called Deco Wall item# SS-0437. Then I used Pan Pastels for the color. I used the color set called Party Pop item# JM-0081. After applying my Pan Pastels colors, I then dropped a few drops of Journey Glaze item# AD-0002, and using a stiff piece of paper, the size of a credit card I spread out the Journey Glaze all over the background paper, and then sprinkled on a very light amount of  Journey Sparkle Dust item#AC-0013.

Other items used:

CS-0029 | Pretty Pansy 8.5 x 11 Cardstock

CS-0033 | Summer Days 8.5 x 11 Cardstock

AC-0143 | Satin Ribbon Cool Pool

AC-0131 | Journey Thread Beach Breeze

AC-0024 | Pearls

Mermaid Kisses July’s Bloom Box

Good afternoon,

Yesterday my mom and I sat down and created with the July 2017 Fun Stampers Journey Bloom Box. The stamp set title is “Mermaid Kisses” item# SS-0425.

Here are the 2 that I created:

Here are the 2 that my mom created:

For this card I changed the color of my mermaid up a tad from the instruction booklet that comes with the monthly Bloom Boxes.

I colored my mermaid and 2 starfish with Copic Sketch markers.

I added Journey Glaze and Sparkle cuts to the 3 starfish, and the mermaid’s tail.

I also added Cool Pool, Silver, and Clear Silk to the front of this card.

Everything else is provided with the kit.

I also colored this mermaid with Copic Sketch markers, and differently then in the booklet. I also added Cool Pool, Silver, and Clear Silk to my card, as well as Journey Glaze and Sparkle cuts to the 3 starfish, and the mermaid’s tail. The sequins is also provided with the kits.

This one has a special technique to it, my mom added the FSJ’s “Clear Pigment ink” with a circle dauber and the clear embossing powder.

My mom used the “Color Splash pencils” from Fun Stampers Journey. They are amazingly wonderful watercolor pencils.

This card was also a technique card. My mom created the background was an FSJ ink stamp pad. This technique is highlighted in the instruction booklet that comes in the kit.

My mom used the “Color Splash pencils” from Fun Stampers Journey, for the mermaids and starfish.

I really like this Bloom Box set this month, I like mermaids, but I like how Richard has the 3 different mermaids. To me it looks like a 3 generation life cycle. The grandma, mom, and child. Or you could say: The Maiden, Mother, and the Crone.

All Bloom Boxes come with all the card stock, and embellishments you will need to create 4 cards. And now Richard (owner of FSJ) has made these Bloom Boxes Ala carte’ which means you do NOT have to do a monthly subscription to get the Bloom Boxes now. However, it will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you sign up to receive the kits monthly you will be quarantined to get one each month, always. But if not you can still  get one if available.

Below is a flyer on the the Bloom Boxes, if you are interested you can leave me a comment, or go to my web site, or email me with the email on the flyer.

Here is a sneak peak for October’s Bloom Box:

Little bunny

Good evening Crafty Friends,

I created an Easter card:

The sentiment is from the stamp called “Easter Bunny” #AT-0053. The little bunny is from the set called “Spring Fling” #SS-0076. (Follow each link to see each of the stamp sets used.) I colored my images with Copic Sketch markers.

The grass was created using the die called ” and Lemon Grass card stock.

For the hexagon look behind the bunny, I used the “Hexagon Background Die Set,”      SKU# DI-0063, with “Whip Cream card stock,” SKU# CS-0040.

The colored card stock in there was created by using the same die to cut out 4 different colors of CS and then using a piece from each. I used the colors: Bubble Gum, Cool Pool, Pretty Amethyst, and Pineapple Smoothie.

The sentiment was stamped on one of the white pieces from the first cut, then raised up using a foam square. The hexagon frame is also raised up with foam squares. The 4 color pieces are glued flat. The grass, egg, and bunny are raised up on foam squares.

If any of these products interest you, you can click on the linked word or visit any time day or night at:

You are amazing, beautiful, remarkable, brilliant, and loved!

Hello Crafty Friends,

About a year ago or more I met a lady on Facebook, she lives in Canada and I live in Florida, well she came to my little area of the world and we got to meet up.We meet up at a pretty nice scrapbook store called “Violettes” (Follow the link if you want to check them out.) Violettes is apart of what’s called a “Shop Hop” every year so there are props for taking your photos at. So yes of course we did.

The theme of the “Shop Hop” this year was something to do with being a chef, not sure we just shopped the store.

The following day we had some great food, crafting time,

and chatting. We created a card together:

The stamp we used is from Fun Stampers Journey called “Your Are.” SKU# AT-0228.

First we White powder embossed the stamp, then we painted on the following:

Bubble Gum Silk SKU# IP-0092, was used on “Beautiful” and it was splattered over all.

Electric Lime Silk SKU# IP-0108, was using on “Brilliant.”

Sour Lemon Silk SKU# IP-0110, was used on “remarkable.”

Citrus Cooler Color Splash SKU# IP-0079, was used on “You Are.”

Watermelon Color Splash SKU# IP-0083, was used on “& loved.”

Outrageous Pink Color Splash SKU# was used on “Amazing.”

The woman paperclip is from the “Fam Bam Elements” SKU# AC-0099.

I also used “Journey Thread Whip Cream,” Watermelon card stock, Whip Cream card stock, and just the piercing part of the “Journey Rectangles Die Set” SKU# DI-0041.

This is one single stamp:

You-Are  You-Are-back

Here is the stamp on the right you can see the red rubber.
